Early Childhood Catechist
Engage kindergarten and first grade children in prayer and activities to help them begin developing a relationship with Jesus Christ and the parish community. Classes take place on Sunday morning during mass once a month.

Grades 2 - 3 Catechist
Engage children in prayer and activities to encourage them in developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and living their faith. Catechists prepare children in Grades 2 & 3 for First Reconciliation & Eucharist. Classes meet twice a month.

Grades 4 - 8 Catechist
Engage children and young teens in developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the church. Classes meet twice a month.

Confirmation Catechist
Engage high school age youth in developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ in the church community. Teens participate in a two year preparatory process for the Sacrament of Confirmation led by a team of adult catechists and peer ministers. Sessions occur twice a month.

Bakhita Bible Camp

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) helps people on the faith journey as they discern their call to join the Roman Catholic Church through the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. It also seeks to strengthen the faith and understanding of those who are already fully initiated in the Catholic Church. Learn more

Children’s Liturgy of the Word Leaders
Children from Kindergarten to Grade 5 to be called from the main assembly at Mass during the Liturgy of the Word to hear and reflect upon the Sunday scriptures at a developmentally appropriate age level. Consider becoming a Presider (Minister of the Word) or assistant. We provide the necessary resources and training. Commitment could be as little as twice a year! Learn more
