The Sacrament of Confirmation Program
Welcome to our two year Sacrament of Confirmation Program at Saint Josephine Bakhita Parish.
Year I Candidates journey with Jesus as they begin their preparation for full initiation in the Catholic Church.
Year II Candidates continue their journey as they come to know Jesus better in service to others.
Our journey together includes the entire parish community but especially the faith and dedication of our teachers who share their time and faith with our candidates.

Carol has been a catechist in our Parish for over 30 years beginning with her son’s First Communion class. She almost left after that first year but felt a calling to continue and taught all grades until she found her niche working with teens in the Confirmation program. Her passion for social justice was a perfect fit as her work with non-profit organizations brings the works of mercy to life. She has presented workshops at the annual Bishop Peter Rosazza Social Justice Conference on her interactive classes and strives to bring the love of Jesus and the fire of the Holy Spirit to the hearts of her students. Carol resides in Rocky Hill and has a son and daughter-in-law and two grandchildren who also reside in Rocky Hill.
